Dear Parents, Having started our junior section just over 25 years ago it is great that we can now field various teams from under 6's up to under 16's. It is brilliant to see the fun that the kids are having from the matches and training sessions aswell as seeing the future of our club develop. Over the years we have kept growing and we have been able to obtain more qualifications to ensure that the kids continue to enjoy and learn about Rugby. All our coaches hold WRU coaching qualifications, are CRB checked and have First Aid qualifications. Abercrave is a very child friendly club with the emphasis on the kids having fun and learning the skills of the game in an enjoyable environment. If you are not sure that Rugby is the right sport for your child then please come along and watch a few sessions and have a chat to the coaches. Different ages do train on different nights and times do vary between age groups but if you would like specific information regarding a certain age group then please don't hesitate to get in touch. Remember we offer rugby to both boys and girls, from year 1 onwards.
We always welcome offers of help as the club is run on a voluntary basis. There's always plenty of things you can do to help your child enjoy their time at Abercrave RFC Mini & Juniors such as coaching, refereeing, general committee work, helping out at events and helping out in the kitchen on match days.
